Play four-suit Spider Solitaire online
This is the full game: all four suits, 104 cards and ten columns. It's one of the hardest classic solitaires, and one of the most satisfying to beat.
The rules
Four-suit Spider plays exactly like two-suit Spider, with spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs all in the mix.
- Goal: build eight King to Ace runs, each in a single suit.
- Building: any card can go on one rank higher. Only same-suit runs move together.
- Dealing: five deals of ten cards, and only when every column has a card.
Why it's hard, and what helps
With four suits, most of your early building will be in mixed suits, and mixed stacks don't move. The game becomes about creating space: empty columns and clean same-suit runs.
- An empty column is your best tool. It lets you break up a mixed stack and rebuild it in suit. Protect it.
- Prefer moves that reveal cards. Information is scarce in four-suit Spider. Every face-down card you turn over helps.
- Avoid burying low cards. A stack ending in an Ace or 2 of the wrong suit is hard to use.
- Use undo to explore. Try a line, see where it goes, back out. That's how strong players learn.

Questions people ask
- Is four-suit Spider the hardest solitaire?
- It is one of the hardest well-known solitaire games. Plenty of experienced players win fewer than half of their games. Unlimited undo, which you have here, makes a big difference.
- Can every four-suit Spider game be won?
- No. Some deals cannot be won however you play them, though most can be won by an expert with enough undos.
- Why do my runs not move together?
- Only runs in a single suit move as a group. A mixed stack has to be taken apart one same-suit section at a time.
- Should I start with four suits?
- Most people enjoy it more after learning one-suit and two-suit Spider first.
